What shipped.

Each Farwing release is published on farwing.io/download with signed Windows builds and SHA-256 checksums.

Install a specific version

Linux / macOS:

curl -fsSL -o farwing-install.sh https://farwing.io/install.sh
bash ./farwing-install.sh --version vX.Y.Z

Omit --version (or use latest) for the current release. Windows: 

Invoke-WebRequest -UseBasicParsing https://farwing.io/install.ps1 -OutFile farwing-install.ps1
powershell -File .\farwing-install.ps1 --version vX.Y.Z

Signing

  • Windows binaries and the PowerShell installer are Authenticode-signed.
  • Every archive is listed with its SHA-256 on the download page. The installer checks that hash before it installs.
